It was an awesome week to shop for me. I totally forgot to get split chicken breast, but that’s ok because I was really able to restock my freezer and pantry. I was super psyched to see that they finally had more Tony’s pizza in stock, so I was able to use my raincheck for that. Plus, you just cannot beat the Barber and Fast Fixin’ Chicken for $.99! It’s really strange because they rang up even cheaper when they put the coupons through and so did the Kayem and Skippy???  I have no idea why??? I will read what it says on my receipt next to each one….

There were a few good deals to be had this week at Shaw’s. I had to get a raincheck for the Tony’s Pizza, but that’s ok. I am hoping that they re-stock for the coming week. I also hit a place that sells bulk meats and cheap produce. I picked up 80% lean ground beef for $2.59/lb, sold in 5 lb tubes and potatoes for $1.59! They also sell boneless chicken for $1.89/lb and chicken tenders for $2.99/lb. These are everyday prices! I believe the market is called JD Market in Hillsboro, but I can never remember the name of it.

Total Spent: $23.66 for a savings of 71%  That’s the best I have done in a very long time :)   Just remember, if you are buying a lot of meat, you have to figure in the retail price of the meat in order to get an accurate percentage of savings, at least that’s what I think anyway lol.
